We would like to thank EPO Computers for their donation of space. They let us use the back of their store as our first space free of charge.
We would like to thank the Freeman Library (Clear Lake) branch of the Houston library system for their support and use of their community room for our Monday meetings. Through their help we have expanded out our membership to a more diverse audience further sustaining Creatorspace into the future.
We have collaborated with Cleveland-Ripley and BakerRipley (formerly known as Neighborhood Centers, Inc.) for several years now. The “Seeds for Change” grant we received from them enabled the purchase of our laser cutter/engraver, and allowed us to teach several classes at Cleveland-Ripley on how to create art using the laser.
In addition, partnering with Cleveland-Ripley, we have taught many other classes, and refurbished over 300 computers and laptops to give back to the community.
We have received a generous grant from the Albemarle Foundation, which has enabled the purchase of a Grizzly Bench Mill with Digital Read-Out, as well as equipment for the Electronics Room.
Boeing matches employee volunteer hours with grants to designated charitable organizations. We are grateful to them and the employees who have donated volunteer grants to Creatorspace.
